Ivan & Alyosha app for iPhone and iPad

Seattle is synonymous with coffee, airplanes and the Space Needle but that part of the world has also been both the birthplace and stage for so many new styles of music and the world famous artists that exemplify the craft. It is with that in mind that we bring you Ivan & Alyosha, a group named after characters in a Dostoevsky classic, that has fused deep introspective lyrical verse with the almost forgotten art of folk-rock. Originally formed in 2007 by Tim Wilson and Ryan Carbary they were later joined by TIm Kim and Pete Wilson (Tims brother) and have transcended their genre being hailed on NPR, at the world famous Austin music festival South by South West and opened for stars like Aimee Mann and Brandi Carlisle. However just because folk rock is a sound for the ages doesnt mean that Ivan & Alyosha are not transcending their art in new ways via the iPad. In fact in many ways this iPad app takes the very best of their musical genius and presents an it entirely new yet strangely familiar world to all their avid fans.
